Videocon Z55 Dash smartphone launches in India for Rs 8,499 with 1GB RAM

Videocon has launched its dual-SIM, Z55 Dash smartphone in India, retail priced for Rs. 8,499. The smartphone will also be available exclusively on Flipkart for Rs. 6,490. The smartphone as per the company has been completely designed in India.

Videocon Z55 Dash smartphone comes with 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display with Dragontrail X Glass. It runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS, powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core processor with 1GB RAM.

Videocon Z55 Dash smartphone also has an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash. The rear camera lens is made of Corning Glass with dual anti-reflective coating as well, a 5-megapixel front camera. Its inbuilt storage is 8GB which can be expandable up to 32GB through microSD card.

For connectivity options smartphone has Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, and 3G with ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor.

Videocon Z55 Dash smartphone also has 2200mAh battery and preloaded with V-Safe app, which is designed for emergency purposes to contact family and friends, and also comes with a 90-day free subscription to the V-Secure antivirus app as well.

Videocon Z55 Dash smartphone will be available in Black/ White, and White/ Chrome colour variants.
