Motorola has now confirmed that the Moto G6 is launching on June 4 in India. The Lenovo-owned company has listed the Moto G6 on Amazon India, confirming the launch date, and activating the Notify Me button for alerts. The Moto G6 price in India and launch offers will be presumably revealed on the day of the official unveiling.

The Moto G6 smartphone was launched in Brazil last month. The Moto G6 price (MSRP) has been set as $249 (roughly Rs. 16,500). The Moto G6 Plus and Moto G6 Play were also launched alongside it, priced at EUR 299 (about Rs. 24,350) and $199 (approximately Rs. 13,000), respectively. The Moto G6 Plus sits at the top of the series with a marginally bigger display, faster processor, and more RAM than its two siblings.

On the other hand, Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play have the same display size and RAM, but vary in terms of battery capacity, camera configuration, and the SoC. For now, only the Moto G6 is expected to launch in India on June 4, and the other two may arrive at a later date.

On the front, the smartphone has a 16-megapixel sensor with a selfie flash.

Motorola has provided 32GB and 64GB of onboard storage options on the Moto G6 that both are expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB). The smartphone also has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, proximity, and a fingerprint reader.
