Indian metros still vie for wireline connections; register positive growth

Indian Wireline service providers have been witnessing steady decline in subscriber base for the past few years. Even introduction of services such as DSL-based broadband access and IPTV services which are delivered over the fixedline network have not been able to keep a check on the dwindling subscriber base. But the recent trends point out that operators need to focus on certain markets which are still recording positive growth in wireline services.
