Derick Tsang to be Telit Wireless Solutions’ new president for APAC region
TT Correspondent |  |  21 Feb 2012

Tsang plans to implement a comprehensive strategy for Telit throughout the region, ensuring effective resource allocation to meet specific market needs.

“APAC is one of the fastest-growing regions in the world for M2M, especially in emerging countries that are building telecommunications infrastructures based on wireless networks rather than land lines,” Tsang said. “Telit is currently experiencing great success in several APAC countries.  By redoubling our efforts, we can become the premier M2M module and services provider in the region.”

Telit’s growing worldwide influence, committed professionals and strong corporate vision complemented Tsang’s love of M2M and compelled him to join the company.

“M2M technology can make a real difference in people’s lives, from improving the effectiveness of healthcare through telemedicine to efficiently managing energy use through smart metering,” Tsang said.  “M2M’s societal impact will continue to grow and, through our efforts at Telit, its benefits will further extend into APAC communities.”
