Tata Teleservices’ GSM brand, Tata DOCOMO announced the launch of a new customer services initiative, ‘Live Chat Service’ for its postpaid and prepaid subscribers.
The service will be available on a 24x7 basis for the subscribers and will address queries, requests and complaints through a Live Chat option.
Speaking on the launch of this unique initiative, GurinderSingh Sandhu, Head-Marketing, TATA DOCOMO, said, “Everyone is marching towards a digital era where a lot of companies today offer product/services, toll free services and solutions online using the digital space. Working on the same concept and leveraging the online digital medium, Tata DOCOMO has launched Live Chat service to address customer complaints and resolve the same in real time! Launching Live Chat service is first of its kind in the telecom industry and I am very confident that customers will find this service very convenient, useful and time saving.”

To avail the services, subscribers have to log on to the TATA DOCOMO website, www.tatadocomo.com, select the ‘Dive-In’ option and click on the ‘Customer care Section’. After landing on the Chat service area, the subscriber has to fill out a simple ‘Pre Chat Form’ to be transferred to a ‘Live Chat’ with a company representative in real-time.
