With mobile phones becoming the norm, mobile transactions have evolved as a convenient way of performing all commercial transactions. While capitalizing on this trend, Tata Teleservices has collaborated with ICICI Bank to extend mobile banking services to Tata Indicom subscribers signed up to avail the service.
With this service, Tata Indicom users through iMobile a Brew based application, can transfer funds to any Bank account, Pay bills, top up prepaid mobile recharge, view account balances, last five transaction history, presented bills and credit card payment due date, and many more with ease.
While sounding confident of the growth of mobile banking, Mr. Zubin Jimmy Dubash, Assistant Vice President, Tata Teleservices Limited, said, “By having the largest private Bank – ICICI Bank we have just moved one step further towards Mobile commerce. Additionally, users can also locate an ICICI Bank branch, ATM and phone banking numbers. The service also provides the subscribers the opportunity to access the credit card, demat and Loans services, to name a few.
