Tata Indicom launches new election-based service

In sync with the country’s political mood, Tata Indicom has launched a new customized value-added service- ‘Elections 2009’.

 

With this service, subscribers can get information on elections, latest news, updates on candidates and party profiles. This service can be accessed via SMS, Tata Zone, Voice SMS and CRBT.

 

While announcing the service, Mr. Vineet Bhatia, COO Delhi and NCR and Regional Head North, Tata Teleservices Limited said, “We at Tata Indicom are pleased to offer election pack which will give the subscriber, precise, updated election news, trends, party news, and schedules across the country. This is an earnest effort on our part to encourage our citizens to vote and be a part of the process that shapes India’s destiny.”

 

Availing these services via SMS will cost Rs. 3 per SMS and Rs. 10 per week.

 

For those who wish to have more in depth information including election schedule, election commission of India, richest politicians, celebrity stars, party symbols etc, and subscribers can also log onto Tata Zone.

 

Further, subscribers can also opt for election-themed songs as their caller tune on the day of voting.
