Unitech Managing Director Sanjay Chandra who is facing probe in 2G spectrum allocation case e 2G case withdrew his plea from the Delhi High Court seeking permission to go abroad for treatment of his 9-year-old son.
A Delhi court on Tuesday rejected the application of the Managing Director of Unitech Wireless (Tamil Nadu) Ltd, Sanjay Chandra, seeking permission on humanitarian ground to go abroad for the treatment of his son.
Chandra’ son is suffering from diabetes. In his application he said that he had an appointment with the doctor for December 27 and that he intends to go abroad between December24 and 29. The Special Public Prosecutor, U.U. Lalit, representing the CBI, however opposed his application on the grounds that the investigation on the money trail in the 2G case was continuing. |
