Verizon Business has received two top accolades at the 2010 World Communication Awards. The company won The Users’ Choice award in recognition of its superior customer service, and Verizon’s Computing as a Service (CaaS) solution was named Best New Service.
The Users’ Choice award is presented to the company voted as the best among major global competitors across a range of service-fulfilment criteria. In a survey conducted by Total Telecom and Telemark Services, users across a variety of industries were asked to rank service providers on key service attributes including skills, responsiveness, communications, flexibility, reliability and value.
The judges said: “The testimonials suggest Verizon Business has launched into the cloud services arena with alacrity and with confidence in its network skills heritage.” … “This is exactly what businesses want.”
Blair Crump, Verizon Business president, worldwide sales, said, “These awards recognize our continued efforts to evolve our business to support our customers. Winning the Users’ Choice Award – which is voted for by our customers – clearly demonstrates that our continued efforts to achieve service excellence on their behalf are working. The accolade for our cloud computing solution is further validation of our ongoing move to an ‘everything as a service’ model in which cloud-based, converged solutions are delivered with built-in security to help our customers enhance business agility and performance.” |
