Chinese telecom gear manufacturer, ZTE and Alcatel-Lucent have emerged as the lowest bidders for BSNL’s GSM tender in the Northern and Eastern zones, reports the Hindustan Times.
The total tender is for 5.5 million lines in the two zones.
Others in the race for the tender included Huawei and Nokia Siemens Networks. Ericsson did not participate in the tender as it required the vendor to share source code. |
