Nokia India announced a joint initiative with Sify to deploy Nokia Tej, a hosted mobile order management service that helps Small and Medium businesses (SMBs) manage sales orders and track information from the field on-the-go.
Through this national initiative, Sify will integrate Nokia Tej into its existing portfolio of products and services such as Forum. This will help address unique SMB needs and provide a dependable platform for businesses to migrate towards business mobility in an easy to deploy and cost effective manner, said the tie-up.
“Our association with Sify will help us leverage their wide-spread distribution network and help deliver customized solutions to businesses. Sify also has a strong presence in the verticals relevant for Nokia Tej through their existing service offering and we are confident that this will further augment a wider customer uptake for Nokia Tej. With our joint offering, customers will experience benefits including reduced Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and improved Return on Investment (ROI)”, said Chand Malu, Business Head, Nokia Tej.
“We hope to offer enterprise customers and SMBs a ready-to-implement mobile solution. Nokia Tej is a stable and highly scale-able business solution. We are also working on integrating it with our existing supply chain business applications like Forum™. With Nokia’s brand trust and Sify’s able support, we are assured that the mobility solution will find greater acceptance”, said Shiv Nath Ghosh, Senior Vice President – Enterprise Application Services, Sify. |
