MACH, a leading provider of hub-based mobile communication solutions, announced that it has deployed its second global data clearing platform in Hyderabad, India, which paves the way for mobile operators in India to leverage the full service capabilities of 3G without large CAPEX investments.
Morten Brøgger, Chief Executive Officer, MACH said , “We are totally committed to supporting the deployment of 3G in India and helping our customers navigate the challenges, and opportunities, of increased usage and growing volumes of roaming transactions that 3G will bring.”
“With our new platform, called MDSi, we have deployed our best-in-class proven global data clearing solution, which uses state-of-the-art technology, to bring new efficiencies to the clearing process,” Brøgger added. “MDSi will allow our operator customers to transform their service offerings as they roll-out their 3G networks. They will be able to move from a wholesale roaming business model to a retail roaming business model and pitch new service offerings tailored to their consumer and enterprise customers.”
The MDSi platform will open up new services to mobile operators that are available with 3G, such as the MACH Rerating, Retail Roaming and Data Roaming Engine Solutions which enable operators to offer tariffs based on the usage patterns of their subscribers or on the type of device a business wishes its employees to use abroad . |
