In a bid to improve its services and customer handling the state owned telecom operator BSNL is planning to open a call centre for its wireless phone subscribers in Madhya Pradesh (MP) and Chhattisgarh. "To better our service and customers'' handling, we are going to start a 150 seater call centre from tomorrow in the district," BSNL Chief General Manager (CGM) (MP & Chhattisgarh Circle) N K Yadav told reporters today.
BSNL's GSM and CDMA subscribers and retailers will have to dial 1503, 1502 and 1501 to register their grievances and queries with the centre.
Admitting that BSNL's service was not upto the mark, Yadav said hectic steps are undertaken to improve it.
BSNL would celebrate the next month as Customers Delight month, he said adding that the company's management and staff have resolved to improve service quality and ensure 100 per cent satisfaction.
BSNL's services in MP and Bhopal have taken a beating. Although 10,000 users have opted for their service, almost double the number have shifted over to private players following the launch of Mobile Number Portability (MNP), officials said. |
