Tulip Telecom announced Wednesday said that it has won a managed services contract for a premier science and technology body under the department of Information Technology, Government of India. Tulip is one of the two chosen service providers for the networks implemented and managed by the body.
As the chosen service provider for the project, Tulip will be largely responsible for network management, IT infrastructure management, links commissioning and management amongst other day to day IT and network operations for various government departments.
Tulip will also be responsible for fault management, WAN management and the overall network management for the networks implemented and managed by the institution.
Tulip would also be required to assist in managing all the network facilities created at their disaster recovery site at Hyderabad, state headquarters (SHQ), district headquarters (DHQ), tehsil headquarters and bhawans in their respective states.
