Apple has extended the release of its updated iTunes which was originally to be launched in October. It now hopes to release it by the end of November.
The firm in a statement said that the new iTunes is taking longer than expected and it wanted to take a little extra time to get it right.
The website All Things Digital has quoted Apple as saying, “We look forward to releasing this new version of iTunes with its dramatically simpler and cleaner interface and seamless integration with iCloud before the end of November”.
Last month Apple said that new iTunes was coming in October and will feature a dramatically simpler and cleaner interface. iTunes has not been getting favorable reviews and has been criticized for being slow.
According to USA Today, It was originally introduced by Steve Jobs as a part of Apple's Digital Hub strategy, which featured the iMac as the central repository of all of your media. |
