After third round of bidding there were no takers for metros and top five category “A” circles, except Gujarat. There is a bidder for one slot of spectrum in the state.

Interestingly, there is competition only for UP (East), where demand is more than supply.

Sources say that Telenor has bid only for four circles, and Idea for seven circles. This could not be confirmed from the company officials.

The exact status will be known only after 7.30 PM today.

Under present circumstances, it seems that the auction will be complete today.
