Kotak Mahindra Group has deployed Microsoft Exchange 2010 and Lync 2010 for better collaboration and communication amongst its employees. Employees from different business units will enjoy a more collaborative, engaging, and effective experience.
The Group implemented the technology platform as part of a unified communications strategy across its different business units. The deployment supports improved employee efficiency and better IT management.
As part of this commitment, they deployed Exchange 2010 and Lync 2010 across the Group. The architecture of the products ensured ease of integration into the existing tech environment. They consolidated servers for these products across the Group leading to improved cost efficiency from higher utilization of resources, standardization and improved manageability of the IT environment.
The deployment provides support for enhanced communication and collaboration across all employees of the Group. Adoption of the technologies is speeded up by the fact that the products have an interface similar to other Microsoft products and they are intuitive to use. The familiarity of the products further made it easy for the employees to start using it right away, helping them to be more effective at their jobs.
