Africa, Bharti Airtel has been honoured in two categories at the prestigious Telecom Leadership Forum 2012. It was awarded the QuEST Forum India Quality Award in the ‘Top Telecom Service Provider 2012’ category for its ongoing commitment towards offering best-in-class experience for its customer and its India and South Asia CEO Sanjay Kapoor was conferred ‘Telecom Person of the Year 2012’ title for his contribution to the Indian telecom sector.
Organized by Cybermedia Group, Telecom Leadership Forum 2012 was held in New Delhi. Chief Guest, Honorable Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Dr. Farooq Abdullah presented the awards to the winners.
“Bharti Airtel has been at the forefront of India’s telecom revolution and is the 4th mobile service provider, globally, in subscriber numbers. In India, the company's product offerings include 2G, 3G and 4G wireless services, mobile commerce, fixed line services, high speed DSL broadband, IPTV, DTH, enterprise services including national & international long distance services to carriers” the company said in statement.
The QuEST Forum that awarded Bharti Airtel as ‘Top Telecom Service Provider 2012’ is a unique collaboration of information and communication technologies (ICT) service providers and suppliers across the world, dedicated to improving operational and supply chain quality and performance.
Organized by Voice&Data of the Cybermedia Group, the Telecom Leadership Forum has instituted these awards to celebrate leadership and encourage innovations in the Telecom industry. |
