DOVADO, the supplier of mobile broadband routers and software to 4G/LTE and 3G operators and distributors, has announced that its 4G-optimized DOMA and TINY routers support the Huawei E392 USB modem available to subscribers on the Everything Everywhere (EE) network in the UK.
Customers will be able to use DOVADO routers to share their ultra-fast 4G mobile broadband, with speeds comparable with those of the fixed line national average, easily via Ethernet and WiFi across their home or office (with up to 32 devices connected simultaneously). As such consumers will be able to replace their fixed line with flexible, mobile broadband without any detriment to the speeds they receive.
With Ofcom recently reporting that the average UK fixed line broadband speed is at around 9Mbps, EE customers with mobile broadband subscriptions and the Huawei E392 USB modem will now have access to comparable speeds. By plugging their dongle into a DOVADO router, consumers can share their super-fast 4G mobile broadband connection across their home or office. Thanks to the 4G speeds supported by the company’s routers, many users could now even replace their fixed line.
DOVADO’s routers support over 200 modems from more than 20 of the world’s leading suppliers affording users full flexibility to work with a range of suppliers. DOVADO continues to add support for new brands and modems so users can be guaranteed the highest speeds possible and compatibility with new devices.
“4G LTE deployments around the world have begun to pick up a head of steam with Everything Everywhere becoming the first to launch in the UK, delivering mobile broadband speeds that match and can even outpace the average fixed line connection,” said Erik Arthur, CEO DOVADO. “With DOVADO’s routers, EE customers with Huawei E392 USB modems are able to share their ultra-fast connections across their homes and offices, receiving a service equal to that of their fixed line. I expect, as 4G LTE networks continue to be rolled out in the next year, DOVADO will be well placed to offer consumers a simple and effective tool to make the most of these next generation speeds.” |
