Focused on creating consumer-centric applications that deliver true value, Nokia India,  in association with NDTV,  today announced a call for entries to the first ever app reality TV show, ‘Nokia Lumia, Your Wish Is My App.’
 
The campaign will give consumers the unique and exciting new opportunity to submit mobile application ideas that have the potential to be developed into successful apps for the Windows Marketplace and stand a chance to win a grand prize of Rs. 1 million.
 
The ‘Nokia Lumia, Your Wish Is My App’ reality show will see consumers with the top 36 submissions fight it out for the grand prize in front of an esteemed panel of judges including Rajiv Makhni, NDTV Managing Editor & Tech Guru, Vishal Gondal, Managing Director, Disney UTV Digital, Raj Chinai, Venture Capitalist & Co-Founder, Harvard Business School Alumni Angels and Vikas Khanna, New York based Michelin Starred Celebrity Chef.
 
The winners will be judged on the basis of parameters such as the originality of the idea, relevance of the app, potential for the revenue and the practicality of the app. The 9 episode reality TV will be aired on NDTV starting end January.

The Nokia Lumia, ‘Your wish is my app’ contest is about opening this platform up for greater innovation and inviting suggestions from the consumer itself, promising them our support in developing and taking the benefits of the application to wider audience of consumers in the Windows Marketplace.”
 
In addition to the grand prize of Rs 10 lakhs (1 million), the runner up will be presented with Rs 5 lakhs and Rs 2 lakhs each and three lucky winners will stand a chance to win the new amazing Nokia Lumia 920.
