  Acer has partnered with Intel the Acer Liquid C1 with Intel Inside, the first smartphone based on Intel Atom processor Z2420for the Asia Pacific region.
It runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich Operating System and comes with Intel XMM 6265 slim modem with quad-band capability 4.3" IPS qHD touch screen (960x540, 16:9 ratio).
Though the company has not commented as to at what price it would be available when it would be launched in India, it would be displayed and promoted during Mobile Expo on 7-11 February, with wider retail availability at a retail price of THB9,990. In India it could have a Rs 17,000 plus tag.

Intel introduced the Intel Atom processor Z2420 (code-named Lexington) at CES early this month. Today Acer is the first to introduce a product based on this new technology in this region."
