Keeping its eye on low budget smartphone market in India, Huawei, the leading Chinese handset maker on Monday launched its entry level smartphone Ascend Y210D for the Indian market.
The company is eying young customers offering the mid-range smartphone features at an entry level price. Huawei by launching Ascend Y210D is also targeting the smaller town and the buyers in the rural areas.
Huawei is selling the device through its online partners like Flipkart, HS18, Infibeam, Snapdeal, large format retails like Croma, Ezone, Reliance Digital, Univercell and Huawei Experience outlets and multi-brand outlets nation-wide.
Optimized for the internet & social media consumption, the Ascend Y210D offers a bigger 3.5” HVGA display for better viewing, faster 1GHz Qualcomm processor for gaming, browsing, emailing & social networking and Dual SIM (3G+2G), dual standby for consumers to best manage their budget on voice and data connections.
Users can access internet at 3.5G 7.2 Mbps download speeds or enjoy upto 6 times faster Wi-Fi internet via 802.11 b/g/n. Ascend Y210D also allows users to share internet with family & friends via the WiFi Hotspot feature.
With a long-lasting 1700 mAH battery coupled with Huawei’s Power Saving Technology that gives upto 30% more battery life, the Ascend Y210D offers a seamless and continuous surfing experience to the users and their friends when sharing internet. Available in two colors ceramic white and phantom black, the aesthetically-designed Ascend Y210D also offers a 5 second fast boot-up, a 2 M camera with CMOS sensor offering faster imaging and power-efficiency, Android 2.3 software and access to over 5 lakhs apps via Play Store.
