The struggling Finnish handset maker Nokia on Wednesday added two more budget smartphone to its handset portfolio by launching two mobile phones-Lumia 520 and Lumia 720 in India. While Lumia 520 is priced at Rs. 10,500, the price of Lumia 720 has not been revealed for Indian market.
Lumia 520 has a 4-inch display, 5 megapixel camera and has a 1GHz dual-core processor and 512MB RAM, while Lumia 720 has a 4.3-inch display, 6.7 megapixel camera and a 1GHz dual-core processor.It comes in five colours. It has same digital camera lenses as on Lumia 920, and will be available in the market within a week.
Lumia 720, which has a high-end camera, will be available by Mid-April. It could have a price tag of 249 euro.

"These power-packed devices are developed for young and socially active consumers who demand a stylish power-packed smartphone with a wide range of features to enhance their on-the-go experience," Nokia VP Smart Devices (UX Design) Nikki Barton said.
Vipul Mehrotra has confided in DNA that the company can reduce the prices of 800, 900 (Lumia models), to take them to the maasees.
“we have been operating at the price points of about Rs 30,000 and over time, we are bringing that experience down to an affordable price point. The strategy behind this was to offer uncompromised experience of a high end smartphone at affordable price points,” Vipul Mehrotra, director and head of Smart Devices told DNA.
