Samsung’s much awaited Galaxy S4 Mini which was earlier expected to be launched in June may make it debut this week, if online media reports are be believed.
South Korean Giant was believed to be working on four variants of the S4 Mini. The device which will have 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display with 256ppi will run on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean and will be powered by 1.6GHz dual-core processor.
The company is cashing in on the popularity of the dual-SIM phones, particularly in Asian countries like India will launch one of the variants would be in this category. There could be a standard, an LTE enabled variant and one SKU customized for China Mobile.
The Galaxy S4 is being seen by many as an answer to Apple’s dominance in the US. It was launched in the US early this week.
Given the fact that it would be smaller in size as compared to the GALAXY S 4, on e can expect the lower price for the device. According to some report it will be priced around£300/$450.
Compared to its mini version Galaxy S4 which is powered by 1.6GHz Exynos octa-core processor comes with features a 5-inch full-HD screen with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels, and pixel density of 441ppi. In some regions it is powered by a 1.9GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor in others. It has 2GB of RAM and a PowerVR SGX544MP3 triple-core GPU.
