  Pre-order for Goggle Nexus 7 in India has begun on Google Playstore. The device with 7-inch backlit IPS HD display with 1200 X 800 resolutions is priced at Rs. 15,999. The Nexus seven will be officially launched on April 5.
It comes with 16 GB internal storage, expandable to 32 GB variant, with a shipping time of 3 to 7 days. It weighs just 340 grams and runs on Google Android 4.2 OS Jellybean, powered by NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad core processor with 1 GB of RAM.
It also has a separate 12 core graphics processing unit (GPU) for gaming, in addition to an accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer.
The device has a 1.2 MP front camera which could be a disadvantage for the users. It has no rear camera either.
