Idea has added one more budget smartphone to handset portfolio- Idea ID 920- which is available online at Rs 4,900.
The dual-SIM device runs on Android Gingerbread verison 2.3 and is powered by 1GHz processor. It works on both 2G and 3G networks. The handset is available on ecommerce portal infibeam.com.
It comes with a 3.5 inch HVGA touch screen with resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. It sports a 2MP camera. For connectivity, it has 3G, EDGE, GPRS, and WLAN, USB and Bluetooth options. It also comes with FM Radio and the music player.
It has 512MB ROM, 256MB RAM and a 2GB Memory card included in the phone expandable upto 32GB via microSD card. It comes with 1400mAh battery which the company claims can give talk time of Up to 13h(2G),up to 7h(3G) and standby time of Up to 500h(2G), up to 300h(3G).
Buoyed by the success of its recently launched 3G Smartphones, Idea Cellular last month launched two more 3G smartphones- Idea ID 920 and Idea Aurus III- for different market segments.
Both the phones are dual-SIM and Android based powered by1GHz processor and priced at 4,950 and Rs 6990 respectively.
It recently launched 3G Idea Whiz. Before this Idea had launched five 3G smartphones-Idea Zeal, Idea Ivory, Idea Aurus, ID 918 and Idea Blade- all in sub-Rs 8,000 category. The company claimed good response from these launches.
