Nokia Asha 210 with dedicated WhatsApp button is now available for pre-order in India. The device with a 2.4 inch LCD display screen with QWERTY keypad is up for grab on e-commerce site infibeam.com at Rs 4,499. The phone will be available by early July.
This is the second launch of Nokia Asha smartphone in India within a week. Just two days back Nokia made Asha 501 available in India with a price tag of Rs 5,199.
The dual-SIM smartphone has a screen resolution of 320x240 pixel with the display ratio of 4:3 and 16 bit color depth. It has WiFi connectivity option. It comes with 2MP camera with 4x digital zoom with a dedicated button too and works even when the display screen is off. Other features include 1200 mAh, maximum memory card size of 32 GB and FM Radio.
Nokia Store, is planning to sell 100 million of the new generation Asha smartphones over the coming years, beginning with the Nokia Asha 501.If one goes by words of Stephen Elop, president and chief executive of Nokia Corp, the company has a lot of work to do to catch up with Apple Inc.’s iPhone and Samsung Galaxy in the more expensive smartphones market.
