Samsung on Thursday launched the Galaxy Tab 3 311 (8-inch screen) and Galaxy Tab 3 211 (7-inch screen) in India. Company had announced Tab 3 series in London last month.
 
While Tab 3 211 (7") is priced at Rs. 17,745, Tab 3 311 (8") Tab 3 310 (8" WiFi only) will have price tags of Rs. 25,725 and Rs. 21,945 respectively.
 
The Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 8-inch will be available in two variants. The GALAXY Tab 3 311 has 3G (Voice and Data) capability while the GALAXY Tab 3 310 is a WiFi version only. The company may launch 10.1-inch Intel-powered tablet appearing later in the country.

The seven-inch version runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has  a 7-inch WSVGA (1024×600 pixels) display. The device is and is powered by a dual-core Marvell processor clocked at 1.2GHz and paired with 1GB of RAM.

It sports  3-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front camera, 8GB of expandable internal storage, 4,000mAh battery.  .

The Galaxy Tab 3 8.0, on the other hand, flaunts an 8-inch WXGA TFT (1280×800 pixels) display, which is similar to the one on the Galaxy Note 8.0 but without the stylus functionality.

It is powered by .5GHz dual-core Exynos 4412 processor, and runs on  Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Other features include Mali 400 GPU, 1.5GB of RAM, 5-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel camera on the front, 4,450mAh battery and 16GB of internal memory that can be expanded using a microSD card. Connectivity-wise, the tablet features Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, USB and A-GPS and on the software front.

Samsung is offering an introductory offer of 2GB/month data free for 2 months from Vodafone on the tabs.. The offer is valid on the post paid platform .With the launch of the Tab 3 series, Samsung now has a range of 5 tablets, which are available between Rs.17, 745 to Rs 38,840.
