  After launching its much-hyped 5-inch, Android Intex Aqua I-5 smartphone for the Indian customers in June, Intex has now announced the i-Buddy Connect II 3G tablet for Rs 7,500.

In May this year Intex had launched Intex i-Buddy Connect 3G which it said would take care of the needs of the high users of the internet, especially the youth. The 7-inch 3G enabled tablet has a price tag of Rs. 9,990 which can take on other brand in sub-10k price range. The company is targeting the urban and semi-urban youth with low budget tablets.
The single-SIM Intex i-Buddy Connect II 3G has a 7-inch WVGA display with 800×480 pixels resolution. It runs on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich and is powered by 1GHz dual core Cortex A9 processor.

It comes with 512MB of RAM, It sports a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front camera. It has 4GB of internal storage, 32GB of external storage support on microSD card. Other features include voice calling support and a 3,000mAh battery which the company says gives up to 5 hours of talk time and up to 300 hours of standby time.
Its older version Intex i-Buddy Connect 3G was constructed around the entertainment and educational needs of the students comes preloaded with NCERT text books through Educlass app from class 1- 2 and interactive content on a variety of subjects. The tablet also offers HDMI connectivity. Apart from 3G, it also offers Wi-Wi option.
