With lava, Micromax, Celkon and Karbonn recently focusing on budget smartphone market in the country, Maxx Mobile too on Wednesday joined the race by launching fifteen handset models feature phones and smartphones.

It also launched a 7-inch voice calling tablet called Maxx Tab722 for Rs 8,000. It runs on Android 4.0.4 Ice cream Sandwich and is powered by a 1GHz MediaTek MT6575 processor.
The Dual-IM tablet comes with 512MB RAM. It has 4GB of internal storage but there is no mention about tablet's expandable storage. It sports 3-megapixel rear camera and 1.3-megapixel front camera. It has Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, Micro-USB and 3G as connectivity options. It Has a 3000mAh battery.

The company said that by launching these phones it is offering the buyers the choice of variety of features at varied price points. It said that the launch is aimed at everyone from a teenager to a working professional to a housewife. From a low budget feature phone to a mid range smartphone, there is a phone that fits every pocket.
The handset models that the company launched are - AX5 Plus, AX40, AX353, AX50,;Feature Phones- MT280, MX426, MX425e, MX501, MX514, MX247, MX152T, MX153T, MX504, MT350, and and Tablet -Tab722.
The Android phones are mid range smartphones starting from Rs. 3131 to Rs. 6500, including the MSD7 AX50, with 3G capability, 5 inch display, Android 4.2.2 Jelly bean 5 MP rear camera at Rs. 6262.
In the feature phone segment, the phones start from Rs. 1050 to Rs. 2599. The feature phones launched also includes models like WOW that has a special IML Finish body which givesit a classy look.
