Indian born industrialist Dr Bhupendra Kumar Modi among Singapore's richest

Spice Global a US$ 2 billion diversified conglomerate announced that India born Industrialist Dr B K Modi, Chairman, Spice Global has made his place at the Singapore’s 50 Richest List by Forbes.

Earlier this year, Dr. Modi raised his U.S. dollar holdings to $200 million, as he could foresee the currency to appreciate against the euro, pound and yen. The Group has invested in various industries including telecommunications, healthcare, hospitality and financial services.

Dr. Modi is ranked at27th position in the overall rich list of Singapore’s billionaires. Eminent personalities like TRobert & Philip Ng and KwekLengBeng& family have been ranked on this list.

Forbes selected Dr. B K Modi after a rigorous evaluation based on a variety of considerations such as the overall performance, technological innovation and expertise in various fields. Dr. Modi, who became a Singapore citizen in January 2012, invested 70 percent of his assets in real estate in cities including New York, London and the Southeast Asian island state.
