In addition to its advanced LTE network, Ericsson’s customers in China will now have access to Digi’s wireless gateways, routers and embedded wireless modules. This combination of outstanding network performance and industry leading wireless hardware can help open new M2M markets throughout China.

Digi and Ericsson have installed a successful power distribution monitoring pilot system for Shandong Power of the State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC). The system will be deployed in five cities across Shandong. The system features the Application Platform V1.0 (DMAP V1.0) as well as a device management system designed by Ericsson that is based on Digi hardware.
