MTS in association with Lava has launched another affordable CDMA phone- Lava L661- at Rs. 1199.

Lava 661 has a 4.5cms (1.8)TFT screen has a MP3 player and  a micro SD card slot, with expandable memory of up-to 4GB. The keypad supports single thumb usage.

It comes with MTS unlimited talk plans, the handset becomes a perfect combination of Voice+ Entertainment (music on the go).

The handset also supports speaker phone facility and can be used to make conference calls. Among other utilities the handset has Alarm, Calculator, Calendar, Predictive text T9, Vcard, Group SMS, Scheduler and MTS info.

Lava 661 is available in black white and blue colors.

Earlier in June MTS launched MTS Duet, the dual-SIM budget smartphone  that works on both CDMA and GSM technologies for Rs 4799. At the time of its launch the Leonid Musatov, Chief Marketing & Sales Officer MTS India had said that company will launch a slew of dual mode smartphones this year, powered by MBlaze Data network for its customers.

Before that MTS had launched a dual-SIM budget phone which also works on CDMA and GSM technologies for its customers in Kolkata and West Bengal at Rs 1699.
