India’s leading telecom operator Airtel has launched a new scheme called My Plan to give a boost to its post-paid subscriber base. The facility will allow users to customise their tariff plan according to their usage. The company said that the facility is industry first
The customers will have multiple options to choose from. The plan will also enable them to change the package once a month without paying anything.
Economic Times has quoted Bharti Airtel's chief marketing officer for consumer business, Govind Rajan as saying that the concept of 'my plan' will appeal to all customers. This plan will help grow (our) post paid customer base.
According to him, post-paid tariff plans lack flexibility and this precisely the reason for users from moving from pre-paid platform to post-paid.
Despite being more complex, post paid connections get operators garner higher revenue per month. |
