Huawei has given a huge fillip to its mobile business in India and expanded its Ascend series of smartphones by launching four new handsets -Ascend G700, Ascend G610, Ascend Y511 and Ascend Y320 for Indian customers.
According to company’s own admission, India is a huge market and four different series of products reiterates ts focus on providing smart devices at a smart pricing in India across different segments.
The costliest of them is G700 which has price tag of Rs 17,999, while the G610 is is priced at Rs 12,999. While G700 is available in Black, the G610 is available in Black and White.
Huawei Ascend G700 phablet features a 5-inch HD IPS display with 720x1280 screen resolution, while the Ascend G610, also a phablet has a 5-inch qHD IPS display with a resolution of 540x960 pixels.
Both run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS and are powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. Both packs in a 2150 mAh battery. The G700 sports an 8 megapixel camera, while the G610 comes with a 5 megapixel camera.
G700 and G610 have an 8 GB and 4GB internal memory, respectively while the memory can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card. Both the phones have 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with A-GPS as connectivity options.
Huawei Ascend Y511 features a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with a screen resolution of 854 x 480 pixels, while the Huawei Ascend Y320 comes with a 4-inch display and a screen resolution of 800x480 pixels.
The Huawei Ascend Y511 and Y320 come equipped with a 1730mAh and 1350mAh battery, respectively. Y511 has a 3 megapixel rear camera and 0.3 megapixel front camera, the Y320, sports a 2 megapixel camera. Both have a price tag of Rs Rs 7,499 and Rs 6,499 respectively. Y511 is available in Black and White.
The phones will be available through all multi branded mobile stores as well as e-commerce sites such as Flipkart, Infibeam and Snapdeal.
