Sony Xperia Z1 Compact launched in India with 20.7 MP camera, 2.2 GHz quad-core CPU

Sony India has announced the launch of its smartphone Xperia Z1 Compact at Rs. 36,990 and will be available from next week. It features a 4.3 inch HD display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with 2.2 GHz quad-core CPU with 2 GB RAM. This device is also waterproof and dust resistant. This device also supports 4G/LTE.
 
The phone comes with the best camera range in this size, i.e. 20.7 megapixels with CMOS image sensor Exmor RS for mobile. The camera will also have other features like time shift burst with 61 frames in just two seconds, info-eye visual search, social live and augmented reality extensions. It has 2 megapixels front facing HD camera.
 
Xperia Z1 Compact, weighs 137 grams and comes with a 2300 mAh non removable battery. The device runs on Google Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS and is expected to get 4.4 KitKat upgrade soon. Consumers will also get access to Sony Music and Sony LIV video streaming. We can expect good competition with this device from its close competitors Samsung galaxy S4 mini, HTC One mini and many more.
 
The phone will come in Lime, Pink, White and Black colour options.
