One more Chinese phone is set to be launched in India. This time however, the company claims that it is the slimmest Andriod phone in the world.
Gionee showcased the phone at Mobile World Congress, 2014, in Barcelona, Spain. Its Elife S5.5 smartphone is 5.5 mm thick. Earlier, Vivo X3 claimed that title with a thickness of 5.7mm.
Elife S5.5 will be launched in India March 30, 2014.
It has 5-inch display and runs on Android based Amigo OS. It is powered by 1.7GHz true octa-core processor with 2GB RAM. It has 13-megapixel rear camera with the world's first 95 degree ultra-wide angle and 5-megapixel front camera. It has 2,300mAh battery.
The phone is priced at about Rs. 23,000. It will be launched in 40 more countries.
The Gionee Elife S5.5 will be available in Black, White, Blue, Pink, and Purple.
