Intex Mobiles launched its first touch-and-type smartphone, the Aqua Qwerty, at Rs. 4,990. The handset combines a touch-sensitive screen and a user-friendly typing QWERT interface, aimed at offering users more choices in the way they use their smartphones, Intex said in a statement.

The Intex Aqua Qwerty dual-SIM device (GSM+GSM) comes with a 3.5-inch HVGA 320x480 pixels display with QWERTY keypad. It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS.

It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 512MB RAM. Smartphone has 4GB inbuilt storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.

                      

The Intex Aqua Qwerty also has 5-megapixel rear camera and 0.3-megapixel front camera and for Connectivity options smartphone has 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Micro-USB with 1500mAh battery.
