Panasonic P81 Android Smartphone phablet is launched in India for Rs. 18,990. It is a dual-SIM smartphone that comes with 5.5 inch HD IPS display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Panasonic's own Play Life UI on top. It is powered by 1.7GHz 'True Octa-Core processor' with 1GB RAM.

The smartphone is also available through online e-commerce portal Snapdeal for Rs 17,999 with delivery in two business days.

The company is also giving 'freebies with Panasonic P81, these include accessories worth Rs. 2,000, such as a flip cover with screen guard, and free apps worth Rs. 9,900, including a Rs. 1,800 Evernote 6 month Premium subscription, free entertainment downloads from Hungama for a month, and India Today e-content, amongst others.

Panasonic P81 has 8GB internal storage capacity which can be expandable up to 32GB through microSD card. The device also has 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, a 28mm wide angle lens, and LED flash, 2-megapixel front camera as well.

                                            

For connectivity options smartphone has 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, GPS, Bluetooth 3.0 A2DP, Micro-USB 2.0, and FM radio with RDS with 2500mAh battery as well.

The Panasonic P81 comes with Leatherette back cover. Panasonic has also expanded its “Play Life” bouquet of features with apps such as Device Cleaner, multi-tasking app Pop-i Player and Gesture Play.
