Reliance Jio may have struck a master stroke by bundling its proposed 4G services with iPhone. Reports appearing in a section of media suggest that Apple CEO Tim Cook has given his nod for the proposal.

It is a win-win situation for both Jio and Apple. Jio has to launch its 4G services in a few months. By bundling of its services with iPhone it will certainly attract high end customers who will like to have better services and good phone.

It helps Apple as India is an expanding market for 4G. In fact, mobile broadband is at nascent stage in India. There is lot of potential for Apple in Indian market. One of the best strategies is to enter into partnership with Telcos.

Reliance Jio is the only 4G network in India that is promoting Voice over LTE (VoLTE). This makes it a good bet for Apple.
