Jio Launched: Tariff slashed - Airtel, Vodafone to be in trouble

Indian richest man and Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, on Thursday announced the commercial launch of Reliance Jio at the Reliance Industries Limited 42nd Annual General Meeting. With this announcement, major telcos like Airtel and Vodafone will have to plan and rethink their strategy to stand against Reliance Jio.

Reliance Jio will charge Rs 50 per GB of data with basic plan starting at Rs 149 per month for basic users to Rs 4,999 for heavy users. Students will get 25 per cent more data and incentives on Jio’s main tariffs.

From September 5, everyone will be able to access the service, which will still be free till the end of the year. Voice calls, meanwhile, will never be charged on the Jio service. The data rates are also cheapest in the world, he said, announcing tariffs starting Rs 50 per GB or 5 paise per MB. The entire bouquet of apps will also be free till end of 2017.

Reliance Jio can Improve the Rs 149/- Plan with More Data like Minimum 1GB data in this same plan instead of 0.3GB. Because you are the richest man in India and only you can do this.

This Initiative of Mukesh Ambani remember us the few years back initiative of his father great Mr. Dhirubhai Ambani with a great campaign in telecom sector in India which connected more peoples in India with Mobile called - "kar lo duniya mutthi me".

These different lowest tariff plans are the perfect slam for other big operators in India. Now its time to others to also slash their rates otherwise huge number of people can port their number and can join Jio family soon, so beware others and rethink once to stand in front of new star in telecom sector of India.
