Chinese handset maker Vivo has expanded its smartphone line-up with the launch of Vivo V11 Pro at a market operating price of Rs 25,990.
The latest smartphone is the successor of V9, and features a notch that is called as a Halo Full View Display. It features a large 6.4-inch super amoled screen in 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The Vivo V11 Pro is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, coupled with a 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. The device comes with a 3,400mAh with fast charge technology.
Vivo is currently looking to expand its smartphone manufacturing facility in Greater Noida further to create more production capacity, a move that will give its local production a big push in its bid to bolster its position in an intensely competitive smartphone market.
Vivo has made a strong comeback in the quarter ended June after suffering a decline in its smartphone market share in the previous quarter. It attributed its improved performance in India to its broader new strategy to become an all-segment player. Vivo cornered 12% market share in the April-June quarter of 2018, more than doubling its share from 5.8% in the previous quarter, according to data from Counterpoint Research. |
