HMD Global, the maker of Nokia phones has expanded its handset line-up with the Nokia 3.1 Plus smartphone, and its first 4G feature phone, Nokia 8810 or the "banana" phone in India. The smartphone is priced at Rs 11,499, while the 4G feature phone will be available at Rs 5,999 through top mobile retailers in India and on Nokia.com/phones.
Nokia 3.1 Plus will receive 1TB of 4G data on a plan of Rs 199 or above from Bharti Airtel, while Nokia 8110 phone users will get up to 544GB of Jio 4G data from Reliance Jio.
Nokia 3.1 Plus comes with a 6-inch (15.24 cm) HD+ display and 18:9 aspect ratio, and is supported by a 3500mAh battery. It features a 13MP + 5MP rear camera and an 8MP camera and is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core processor.
The smartphone ships with Android Oreo pre-loaded, and comes in Blue, White and Baltic colours.
The Nokia 8110 offers access to an app store, for apps like Google Assistant, Google Maps, Google Search and Facebook, send and receive emails. It features the Qualcomm 205 Mobile Platform. With its Wi-Fi connection, Nokia 8110 can be turned into a portable hotspot to share your internet connection with other devices.
