Sony Ericsson brand ambassador, Maria Sharapova launched the company’s new T707 model which has some innovative features incorporated into it like gesture control to mute an incoming call and putting alarm on snooze with a wave of hand over phone.

Phone contacts can also be categorized in terms of light/colour. Themes can be changed automatically depending on day or night.

Additionally it also has a 3.2 mega pixel camera with 3.2x digital zoom and other capabilities like picture & video blogging, video recording assisted with video light and photo fix. The model’s media player is equipped with mega bass, alum art, play now, TrackID, stereo Bluetooth and music tones.

Messaging features include email, Exchange ActiveSync, MMS, SMS, predictive text input and sound recording.

The model will be available in Mysterious Black, Spring Rose and Lucid Blue. It will be ready for shipments in Q2 2009. The pricing details are awaited.
