Idea launches mobile services in Orissa, mulls Rs 1000 cr investment

Idea Cellular said that it plans to invest about Rs 1,000 crore spread over three years as part of its expansion in the Orissa circle. The company announced the launch of its GSM-based mobile services in Orissa circle.

 

While currently there are 350 cell sites, the company aims to increase it to 865 in 45 days time. As part of immediate focus, it aims to cover 360 towns as well as villages by next month and 2,200 towns as well as villages by March 2010.
