ZTE bags IPTV contract from South America’s CANTV

Chinese telecom vendor, ZTE announced bagging a large-scale commercial IPTV contract from Venezuela-based CANTV. The deal is part of CANTV’s plans to invest $ 400 million with an ultimate aim to garner 1.26 million IPTV subscribers within 6 years.

 

The initial phase will involve ZTE deploying its ZXBIV IPTV Eyewill solution enabling CANTV to serve 67090 subscribers.
