Virgin Mobile aims for 5 mn youth subscribers by 2011

VAS provider, Virgin Mobile which caters to Indian market through tie-up with Tata Teleservices, said that it aimed to have 5 million subscribers from the youth segment by 2011.

 

"By 2011, the number of mobile user among the youth is likely to go up to 50 million in India. We aim to win 10 per cent of that market," said Virgin Mobile''s Chief Executive Officer M A Madhusudan.
