HCL Infosystems today announced a new partnership with Microsoft whereby HCL will be Microsoft’s voice solutions partner for OCS R2.
Microsoft Unified Communication Technologies leverage the power of software to deliver complete communications like Messaging, Voice and Video across applications.
Unified Communications solution by Microsoft claim to allow users applications such as telephone calls and conferencing along with regular computer usage like documents, spreadsheets, instant messaging and emails.
Following the tie up, HCL customers will be able to make use services such as E-mail messaging, Unified Messaging of Voice Instant Messaging and Presence, Conferencing (Audio &Video), Live meeting, Seamless Federation and Collaboration with Partners and customers, Voice Integration with PBX &IP-PBX systems.
