Samsung’s first Google Android-based smartphone has inched closer towards its launch with a nod of approval from the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) on Saturday.
Dubbed the Samsung i7500, the handset is a 3.2-inch AMOLED touch screen with a 5.0 megapixel camera.
Other features include Wi-Fi, GPS, and 8GB internal memory with a miroSDHC card that is expandable up to 32GB.
The i7500, a T-Mobile exclusive phone that has quadband GSM/EDGE/HSDPA 7.2Mbps, was specifically tailored for the T-Mobile 3G network.
While the pricing details and the exact date for the release have not been announced, the phone is expected to be available in the United States relatively soon.
The Samsung i7500 was first unveiled last month but no additional features for the phone have been announced. |
