Alcatel-Lucent marks International Days of Caring in India with Volunteer activities

Alcatel-Lucent India undertook volunteer activities across Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Chennai to commemorate International Days of Caring on June 06. The activities were carried out in close affiliation with NGOs.

 

“The International Days of Caring program underscores one of the Alcatel-Lucent key values - our commitment to social responsibility.  It also celebrates the generosity and spirit of our people as they live this value through their actions as well as their words,” said Ronald D’ Souza, Director-of Human Resources, Alcatel-Lucent India.

 

The scores of events organized by the company included, a trip to an amusement park for the children of Faith Foundation, a Delhi-based NGO, by Delhi employees, a life skills training for homeless elders and slum children, hosted by Chennai staffs, in association with NGOs ARUWE and GoodLife, said Alcatel-Lucent.
